What are the main criteria/requirements for selecting and completing an Eagle Scout project?
I began working on my Eagle project in January 2006. How did you first come up with the idea to collect equipment for your Eagle Scout project? A family friend, also an Eagle Scout, advised me that I should make my Eagle project “my own” and do something that reflects who I am. I have always enjoyed and participated in several sports. I played baseball for 11 years and I have umpired Little League baseball for the past three years. I wanted to help younger children have the same positive baseball experiences I had. Once you decided to collect equipment, what were your first steps? My first step was to create a written proposal for this project for review by my Troop Committee. The initial proposal had to outline the project and how it would benefit the community.
