What are the main beliefs and values underpinning education in england?

England has a socialist system, so the main values are that education should be available equally to everybody regardless of social class. This has all gone a bit wrong in recent years as the current British government is intent on class warfare. Which loosely means that it’s trying to force schools in middle class areas to take students from poorer areas who live a long way away. which means that there aren’t enough places for the local kids, and they in turn have to go to schools out of the area. This ends up in a complete mess with some parents having to drive to the next town to get their kids to school because there are no buses there. I’ve heard about some parents having to do up to a 2 hour round trip to take their kids to school because of this.
