It is very extreme and takes a lot of motivation and determination to stick to it and get your body down to 6-7% bodyfat for a show. The extreme dieting isn`t all that healthy, but it’s for the sport and the glory of winning a show. Keep in mind that competitive bodybuilders do not live year round in contest condition, most diet for 12-16 weeks in preparation, then put the fat back on after competing.
