What are the long-term goals of the Global Campaign for Violence Prevention?
The long-term goals of the Global Campaign for Violence Prevention are to raise awareness that violence is a preventable problem and in doing so, to increase violence prevention activities globally. Our task is to work with countries, NGOs and community organizations to develop and implement multi-disciplinary plans to improve collection, monitoring and reporting of data on the magnitude of the problem, develop relevant research activities and implement prevention programmes while simultaneously improving services for victims.
