What are the logistics involved with motorcycle rental?
As a client of SMTC you will receive preferential treatment as you pre-book your rental months in advance. You will work directly with the rental facility to make arrangements for the bike you want. Once you fly into your starting destination, we will arrange your pickup at the airport, and check you into the hotel the day prior to the tour. The rental agency will usually have some available rental gear and can provide helmets if needed. However, we highly recommend that you bring you own equipment to assure its comfort while riding. The dealer does have T-Bags available for rental to properly and securely store your baggage on the bike. Usually, the bike is returned the last day of the tour. Excess baggage, within reason can be transported in our chase vehicle. If renting, the rental agency will require your be at least 21 years old and in some cases 25.
