What are the local authorities doing about mosquitoes?
Together with Thames Water, the local authorities are sponsoring a public awareness campaign in the area. This is aimed at reducing the number of potential mosquito breeding sites. Leaflets are being delivered to all premises in the target area. The councils are currently examining how to deal with mosquito infestations in the drainage gullies in the roads. They also work closely with us to ensure that mosquito control on the Mogden is carried out effectively and efficiently.
