You will most likely be living with at least one other person on-board. The cabins are small but you usually have your own bathroom and shower and your own T.V. There are also computers, internet facilities and phones on-board most ships (phoning home while on-board a ship is very expensive its better to phone home form shore when you get time off). The crew have there own area to eat called the crew mess and there own bar (crew bar) which is also used as a little retail outlet where you can buy snacks and drinks, they usually have a crew area to sunbathe and hang out in, there own laundry and some times a crew gym. Some cruise ship jobs have more privileges than others so some crew such as entertainers, spa, gift shop, photographers, cruise and casino staff are referred to as ship staff and may get access to areas on the ship that crew are not allowed access to.
