What are the little icons that are displayed under some text areas of the site (smileys)?
Smileys or emoticons are small images used to convey feelings, moods or other emotional content of a post. When we talk to people face to face in real life, we “see” a vast amount of non-verbal communication in the way someone uses facial expressions and other body language. In fact, psychologists say that only 3% of communication is verbal! Emoticons can be very effective in expressing a little of that visual information.
