What are the limits to an original cover design?
An original cover design is not original art; it’s a design. This means that there is a limit to what can be done. We cannot create images that don’t already exist. For instance, we cannot turn horses into clouds or create an image of a car sprouting wings. We can’t create scenes that only exist in your imagination. For that, you need an artist to create original art, which can then be used on the book cover.
