What are the limits of X-ray penetration?
For the time being, Smiths Heimann is the only company that provides penetration of up to 410 mm of steel,which is necessary for the inspection of dense loads. Our systems can scan even tightly packed trucks and containers. They can identify hidden compartments and inspect all parts of the truck including chassis, cabin, wheels etc., ensuring that nothing escapes the operators’ eyes. Also, our dual view technology allows operators to pin-point the exact location of suspicious items, therefore saving valuable inspection time.
