Students who are in the Pre-Exercise Science Option are not officially majors in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education (KPE). Therefore, they are not given priority to enroll in upper division KPE courses that are required for the Exercise Science Option. Additionally, because they are not KPE majors, Pre-Exercise Science Option students typically have to petition to enroll in KPE major courses.
