What are the licensing requirements to work as a salesperson for a residential builder?

A residential builder salesperson, or a residential maintenance and alteration (M&A) contractor salesperson is not the same as being a real estate salesperson. Those licenses are issued through the Residential Builder and Maintenance & Alteration Contractors Board. A licensed real estate salesperson does not sell for a residential builder or M&A contractor unless the builder or M&A contractor has listed the property with the real estate salesperson’s real estate broker. You can read about Residential Builder and Residential Maintenance & Alteration Contractor licensing by going to their website or by calling 517-373-8376.
