A A scooter or motorcycle have the same requirements. A driver that is 15 years of age can operate a vehicle with a engine 50 to 250cc in displacement. Drivers 16 years of age and over do not have a restriction on engine size. In both cases the driver must have a valid Texas Driver’s permit or license with a motorcycle endorsement.
