What are the libraries options for their allocation of CDs?
Each library that accepts CDs must use them to promote music programs in their areas. Among the options are: 1. Accept the CDs, catalog and circulate them as you would any other materials, including selling a small portion of the CDs that may duplicate existing materials (with any funds raised being used for the librarys music collection or music programs). 2. Accept the CDs, but donate some or all to neighboring public libraries, schools or local nonprofit organizations that agree to use the CDs in local music programs. 3. Decline all, and let the library system redistribute your share (a last resort).
