There are two levels of licensure Licensed Associate Home Inspector and Licensed Home Inspector. License Associate Home Inspectors must work under the supervision of a Licensed Home Inspector. To become a License Home Inspector you must have been engaged as a licensed associate home inspector for at least one year and have completed 100 home inspections for compensation or have equivalent education and experience that the board will approve or be a license general contractor, architect, or professional engineer.
