What are the Learning Outcomes for students in the Early Childhood Education Program?
Entry-level graduates with an associate of applied science degree in Early Childhood education from Sinclair Community College will be able to: develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, use appropriate guidance techniques, demonstrate professionalism in the childcare setting, observe and assess a child’s behavior, maintain children’s health and safety, utilize effective communication skills, establish a positive and productive relationship with each child’s family, and establish and maintain a developmentally appropriate environment in a childcare center.
