It is the responsibility of the homeowner adjacent to a park strip to maintain the park strip, including watering, weeding, and mowing. Homeowners adjacent to sidewalks must keep the sidewalk clear of all obstructions. NO DUMPING of landscaping material (i.e., Soil, bark, etc.) is permitted on streets. The front and street side yards of single family lots shall be landscaped and properly maintained with lawn or other acceptable plants material unless other wise approved by the City Council with conditional use permit. No person owning property within South Jordan shall permit weeds on his/her property to exceed a height of six (6) inches (State, County, City Ordinance). Weeds and other noxious plants must be removed after cutting. Further the exteriors of buildings in residential zones shall be properly maintained by the owners.
