What are the laws on hauling trailers with a truck?
Length is not the issue its weight. Trailer has to be <=5T. A regular DL will cover any combination vehicle providing that vehicle GVW is <=13T (truck & trailer) and trailer itself is <=5T. Class B covers any combination as long as the trailer is <=5T. Class A covers any combo. Endorsements may be required to transport certain products such as fuel, explosives, and doubles.
