DLP Cinema continues to be the only commercially available digital cinema projection technology, and is now in nearly over 15,000 screens worldwide and growing rapidly. All of the six major studios and the majority of Independent studios have released movies for DLP Cinema. TI announced a 2K resolution DLP Cinema chip in early 2003, which is now commercially available from all major cinema projector manufacturer customers, with installations in over 40 countries worldwide.
