What are the Knit Wits?
The Knit Wits are a group of people that get together every Monday night from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Faith or Pathway Room of the church and work on various knit, crochet, and loom projects. Our ongoing project is prayer shawls for our sick and shut-ins. We recently sent a box of T-sweaters for needy children around the world to Guidepost Magazine and made a large number of helmet liners for our soldiers in Iraq . Currently we are working on preemie and full-term baby hats, booties, or blankets for Frederick Memorial Hospital , lap robes for nursing homes, and chemo caps for the FMH Cancer Center . Come join us all are welcome! Come and learn to knit, crochet, or loom if you dont know how! For more information contact Audrey, Evelyn or the church office.
