Time shares are aggressively marketed on Hilton Head. The kiosks typically offer an incentive, such as a free meals at a restaurant, for people who will commit to sitting through a sales pitch. The sales pitches are well scripted and difficult to resist, as well as time consuming. It’s your choice, but if they were selling a used car wouldn’t you wait a day or two before committing? These sales people are very persuasive and usually press for a quick decision (made emotionally rather than rationally).
