What are the key sewing or production techniques that every aspiring designer should know?
Regarding the production you should ask yourself every possible question and make your answers a comment to each style. In that way you only get half the questions from the production place. You need to be very specific in your explanations and shouldn’t take anything for granted. Do you have any tips for aspiring fashion designers? First of all, find out what your good at and try to make that a major part of your job. All things you’re less good at – find someone to cooperate with or try to think different and turn those parts of the job into something positive. Secondly be open-minded, just jump into it and don’t be afraid that you might fail. If your job, project or experiment doesn’t work out you have still learned a lot, and in my eyes the attempt of trying can never be a failure.
