Ease of use and adjustment – the ability to adjust the output amperage of a welder is important. Schumacher welders feature the easiest methods for adjustment. Stick welders use a dial adjustment on the front to move the amperage control up or down easily. Many competitive units use a switch – while it takes about the same amount of time to adjust, the design of the Schumacher units allows selection of ANY amperage, not just a few that a switch allows.
