What are the key elements to a good and effective theme song?
The song has to fit the gimmick or there is just no point. I think that there are different types of themes depending of the type of person and weather they are face of heel. E.g. Monster heels tend to have dark rock music, or some type of base in their theme to elevate there size (If you watch TNA a perfect e.g would be Awesome Kong’s theme). High flyer’s theme seem to be out there and in your face like their wrestling style. Beth Phoenix, Victoria and Natalya’s (note all heels) themes are completly different compared to Candice, Kelly x2 and McCool (faces). Beth…etc themes are suposed to be dominated to their opponents and fans so we take notice of them (as if we were forced to), while Candice…etc are more bubblely, party like and seductive so the fans take notice and want to cheer for them.
