What are the key differences between Mocoms Dupic rear-projection screens and conventional rear-projection screens?
Mocom’s new Dupic screens have higher gain and even light distribution – so you don’t get the hot spots and corner fading found with othe rear screen systems. The Dupic film material has been specially formulated to provide exactly the same amount of reflection as transmission. The result for the first time is the possibility of 360° viewing of images projected on glass panels suspended in mid-air. Movie trailers, for example, can be projected onto very large 16:9 Dupic screens that can be suspended above refreshment purchasers in a theater lobby. With no large box required behind the screen, weight and cosmetic issues are removed, and servicing is simplified to maintaining access to the video projector.
