What are the key competencies in Penn States Competencies Program?
The Competencies program identifies key knowledge and skill sets that are essential to Penn State both now and in the future. There are five key competencies that support Penn State’s ability to employ a highly-qualified, effective and diverse workforce. The five key competencies are: • Effective Knowledge is the sum total of education, training, skill and experience required to perform the job to the normally expected standard of competence.
