Starting January 1, 2009, Abbreviated TUEs are no longer an option. Previously, Abbreviated TUEs were requested only for the use four types of beta-2 agonists (formoterol, salbutamol/albuterol, salmeterol, and terbutaline) and inhalation and local injection of glucocorticosteroids. Please see below for how the use of these substances will be governed beginning January 1, 2009.
