The C5 is a highly mobile device with an intuitive user interface that supports multiple input modalities. In addition to handwriting and speech input, the integration of key wireless and data-capture and image-acquisition technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth, optional barcode scanner, RFID reader, and digital camera, ease clinician workloads and enhance clinicians’ productivity. The rugged C5 is highly durable, featuring a magnesium-alloy internal frame, a disinfectant-resistant resin, a shock-mounted HDD and an accelerometer (i.e., Motion DataGuard). The semi-sealed, almost “port-less” design, features a sealed display, a sealed speaker, a sealed-off fan assembly and liquid-resistant microphones.
