What are the key advantages of using DSPL?
DSPL is designed from the ground up for rich data visualizations like those in the Public Data Explorer. Creating these requires detailed metadata around slices, dimensions, and metrics, entities that are not as well supported in other dataset formats. DSPL also supports dataset imports, concept hierarchies (e.g., “country” is the child of “continent”), geocoded data, and a number of other unique features that enhance the data exploration experience.
