After July 1, 2007 OH Insurance applicants will: • Complete their mandatory pre-license education course • Pass the OH state Insurance Licensing Exam • Apply for licensure with OH • Submit a background fingerprint checkStudents will no longer have to repeat pre-license education if they fail the exam 3 times. Certificates will expire after 180 days. Once the certificates expire a student will have to repeat their pre-license education.
