We are heavily supported as a course by the space industry in the UK. Most of the companies provide case study lectures, provide concepts and thesis topics for the individual research projects, and some actively support the group design projects (EADS Astrium in 2004/05). They also provide a guide to the content of the course so they know we are training people with the skills they want in a recruit. The majority of our students go on to jobs in the aerospace industry, or in academia. Recent employers include EADS Astrium, VEGA, Tessella, SciSys, ESA (ESTEC), Intelsat, Qinetiq, and BAE Systems.
