Obviously there are the aeronautical deign jobs like Boeing and other aerospace companies, but also a lot of car manufacturers hire aeronautical engineers in their design branches, due to their advanced knowlege of wind resistance ect.

If you take aeronautical engineering, you will probably do a lot of FEM. This will give you a good background in computer modelling which is applicable to almost any computer-modelling.
