What are the Jewish articles of faith?
Your teacher doesn’t understand Judaism. It’s not like Christianity – it has no articles of faith. It’s not a faith based religion. There are a few core beliefs, & that’s about it. What you’ve listed are some ritual items that are used in the practice of the religion. There are many many more than what you listed. Check out this site – it should start to make more sense: http://www.jewfaq.org ================ She didn’t mean Mamonides – given what she listed. Though his ideas are used, they are NOT required belief & there have been well versed Jewish scholars who disagreed with them. So they can’t be used as “the articles of the faith” though they try to get at the core values. But again, not all of Judaism subscribes to them.
