What are the irrigation objectives of ORDA?
Our objectives are to: • Harness and store water resources which can be used for food and cash crop production during times of drought. • Achieve self-sufficiency for farmers so they will no longer have to rely solely on seasonal rainfall. • Give farmers the tools to produce a marketable surplus of crops. • Create year-round employment opportunities for farming families.
