What are the investor criteria? How much can an individual invest?
We intend to establish share structure that limits the number of shares sold to an individual to prevent any one person from having too much control. Additionally, due to our proximity to Massachusetts and our desire to optimize capital opportunities, we are considering structuring different types of shares such as in-state (voting) versus out-of-state (non-voting) stock. This ensures the community retains control over local decisions and ownership but offers a broader draw and capital opportunity. As of November, 2007, the Stafford Outfitters Steering Committee has officially named the state of Connecticut as our “community”.
