A. Manufactured home installers are required to register with the State of Colorado, Division of Housing (DOH) and maintain a minimum one hundred thousand dollar ($100,000) liability insurance policy and a ten thousand dollar ($10,000) bond, letter of credit, or certificate of deposit. Installers must be at least 18 years old, have at least six-months installation or equivalent experience, and pass a program examination. Home and/or property owners installing no more than one home in any twelve-month period, are not required to register. As of July 1, 2002, i nstaller registrations will cost $110.
