Installing Famlex Please note for optimum use of the new format software we recommend that your operating system be Windows 2000, XP or later. We cannot guarantee that this will install correctly on previous operating systems. For all operating systems, please ensure that the latest edition and service pack is installed. The setup routine contains three models for installation: • Installation on a stand-alone PC with its own CD-ROM drive, leaving the contents of Famlex on the CD-ROM • Installation on a stand-alone PC from a CD-ROM drive, copying the contents of Famlex to the hard drive • Installation on a workstation PC, accessing the infobases and forms via a network.
