What are the ingredients for making rigid pvc pipes for electrical conduits?
PVC stands for PolyVinylChloride: it is a plastic material obtained from polymerisation of the gas vinyl chloride. The two main technologies to produce PVC are “suspension” and “emulsion” polymerisation. The first one (both are in water, with suitable additives, primers, etc…) produce little hard spheres of the polymer, which are then molded by the final manufacturer (pipes producer, in this case) in the desired shapes. The “emulsion” polymer, which is obtained in much smaller spheres and different sizes, is used to obtain (for instance) the artificial leather (sky). I don’t think the raw polymer can be obtained in a shop: it is probably available only to industrial manufactures.
