Apart from rewarding prizes and certificates successful sportsman from the under graduate colleges and the PG department a very important incentive is the availability of a sports quota for admission into different post graduate departments under the Faculties of Arts and Commerce. Moreover University Blue Certificates are awarded to students who participate in different inter-university tournament organised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
