What are the incentives for a business and its employees to become part of the adjunct teacher initiative?
In addition to bringing well-qualified math and science professionals into Arizonas classrooms as adjunct teachers to help prepare students for life in the 21st century by helping fill teacher shortages, businesses will be helping students learn more about real-world applications from those with first hand experience. The training that the adjunct teacher receives will benefit the business and the employee by increasing the employees knowledge and skill level in learning styles, reflection practices, team building, observation-application-discussion sequences as a learning and teaching tool, cultural proficiency, and learning environment strategies.
