1) Go out in the rain only if it is absolutely necessary. 2) If your car wheels has bald tyres do not venture out. Your car is more likely to skid with bald tyres. 3) Check your brakes. With water filled in your brake drums you will not be able to apply brake in time. Maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. 4) See your fog lamp, brake lights and parking lights are working properly. Put fog lamp and parking lights on if visibility is poor. 5) The car vipers should be in working order 6) Inside of the car is likely to get foggy with windows closed. Put AC on so that the windshields remain clear. 7) Drive slowly. 8) Do not step into flowing water you may never know the force and your car might be swept away with you inside. 9) Have the underneath of your car painted with bitumen to prevent rusting.
