What are the important economic factors and demographics in this market?
Mr. Engelke: The interesting thing about Long Island is that there is probably every economic level living here and people that speak many more languages than English alone. If we examine Brooklyn and Queens, these have been melting pot counties where people have migrated into from many places. However, over time many of these people have increased their income and have moved to the suburbs of Nassau and Suffolk Counties. So in our region we have everything from starter families and starter income earners, to very high-income earners. As far as economics are considered, Nassau County, particularly, is ranked as one of the top median income counties in the nation. All this means that we have customers that need all sorts of different services. Tickers included in this excerpt: ASFC For more information call (212) 952 7433.
