As far as the insurers are concerned BSAC’s expertise is as the Governing Body for Sport Diving and thus the BSAC insurers follow the BSAC Recommendations and Safe Diving Practices. Hence if these recommendations are not adhered to the BSAC 3rd party liability insurance may be invalidated for the individual(s) involved.
