What are the immunization and insurance requirements?
All incoming students are encouraged to have current immunizations for Polio, MMR, Varicella and TD (or T-dap) and Hepatitis A and B (according to the Texas Department of Health 2006 Guidelines). All international students are required to have a TB skin test or chest X-ray prior to registration. Health and accident insurance is required for all resident and international students. Residential and International students are billed on their student account for the University plan unless the student has completed the waiver process indicating current comparable insurance.
