WHAT ARE THE ILL-EFFECTS OF DECLINE IN MORAL VALUES?
In todays times, it is seen that most individuals as well as social problems arise due to declining moral values. On an individual level, diseases such as AIDS arise out of immoral relationships. Lacks of mental peace, restlessness, fatigue etc are all a result of lack of moral values. Ill-effcts on society/ the country murder, robbery, bribery, corruption, kidnapping, terrorism, and atrocities on women, rape, alcoholism, and drug addiction all these are problems we are facing today. (The irony is that the nourishment for these problems gutkha, alcohol, drugs etc are produced by people who are also a part of same society that they are destroying, without realizing that if society is destroyed, it means their destruction too). Declining moral values can destroy the very social fabric of a country. This is already posing a problem in many examples of cultures that were destroyed due to such immoral tendencies.
