What are the hours of operation?
• American Behavioral Corporate office operates Monday through Friday 8am-5pm CST. After hours and crisis assistance is always available by calling any of the numbers found on your ID card. Crisis response is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Emergencies will be handled as such, and routine matters will be handled as soon as possible. • What if my needs are urgent? • If you have an emergency and need immediate assistance, please call 911 or an American Behavioral representative by calling 1-800-677-4544 or (205)-871-7814. Please inform us if you have a life threatening emergency, so appropriate care may be given. • What happens when I call for help? • All calls will be received by Central lntake. The caller will speak with a representative who will assess the caller’s needs and refer accordingly. The level of care needed will be determined and referral will be made by the American Behavioral representative.
Heir Force Academy is open Monday through Friday 7:00a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Does Heir Force Academy provide meals? YES, we provide well-balanced nutritional meals. The half-day program includes a morning snack and lunch. The full-day program includes a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Do you have parent conferences? We consistently communicate with the parents through daily take home sheets. This allows the parents to stay informed on what the children have learned for the day. Parent conferences are offered in January and May. What is the teacher/child ratio? The state requirement is 1 teacher per 12 children. What if my child has a food allergy? We require that parents make us aware of any allergies that their child might have. This information is placed in the child’s file and the teachers are notified of any allergies.
