What are the hours of operation for the Concealed Handgun Unit?
The CHL unit is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We accept appointments for renewals and transfers between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. License holders wishing to get a replacement card or have their address changed can just drop in during business hours. It is recommend that you please call ahead at (503) 846-2761. We are open during the lunch hour.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Records Department, is open Monday through Friday (except holidays) from 8:30 A.M. to Noon and 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Concealed Handgun Licenses appointments can be arranged any time during our normal business hours, however, application appointments are only scheduled and accepted on Tuesday afternoons between 1:30 P.M. and 4:15 P.M. You must make an appointment prior to arrival. License holders wishing to get a replacement card or have their address or name changed may drop in during our business hours.
