What are the hook up requirements?
Pressure washers need to hard-wired in, by a licensed electrician, according to local codes. There should be GFI to protect users. 120 Volt units require a minimum = 20 amp dedicated circuit and 230 volt units require a 30 amp dedicated circuit. The water supply must have adequate flow to serve the pump. See the question on water sources to compute your needs. Pumps that are starved for lack of water will overheat. Units should be secured to a solid surface, or if using our optional stand, secured to the ground to avoid tipping or accidently pulling wiring or plumbing loose.
