What are the Honors requirements at Occidental College?
Latin Honors are as follows: Cum Laude GPA requirements: 3.50 to 3.74 Magna Cum Laude GPA requirements: 3.75 to 3.89 Summa Cum Laude GPA requirements: 3.90 to 4.00 Students must also obtain a grade of PD (Pass with Distinction) on the Comps. If a student is a double major a PD grade is required for both Comps grades. Students may also be eligible for College (Departmental) honors with a minimum departmental and cumulative GPA of 3.25 with additional requirements within the department. Please check with the department in your junior year for the additional requirements. Latin honors only will be placed on the diploma.
