What are the highlights of the infrastructure developments in Hyderabad?
a. India’s best/largest airport, developed by GMR corporation, with all world class features opened for operations in 2008. b. India’s first access controlled 8-track expressway with a speed limit of 120 Kms/hr, called the Outer Ring Road of Hyderabad. Phase I connecting Gachibowli and Shamshabad is already operational with Phase II construction going ahead of schedule. c. India’s longest flyover connecting Hyderabad city central to Shamshabad airport, already operational from October 2009.d. Many more world class infrastructure developments happening in and around Shamshabad to support the exploding business growth happening in this area. e. AP has enormous amount of land under govt ownership which they give to the businesses at a considerably lower price to attract businesses. Compared to other states, this is an added advantage for AP.
